Ja taas ihana, aurinkoinen ja lämmin päivä. Saapuessamme Köln-Pollin kentälle oli Tobias jo saapunut sinne. Saimme seurata hänen treeniä Cuban kanssa, jonka jälkeen teimme yhden kierroksen tottelevaisuutta ennen Jogin saapumista paikalle. Tobias ystävällisesti myös tarjoutui apuun jos sellaista tarvitsisimme. Aikanaan saapui myös Jogi sekä muita alaosaston jäseniä ja treenit pääsivät kunnolla alkuun. Teimme toisen kierroksen tottelevaisuutta ennen kuin siirryimme puruihin. Tamilla jatkoin jäävien liikkeiden treenaamista edeten asiassa jo hieman. Vessellä haettiin seuraamisasentoa ja –paikkaa ja silläkin nostettiin jo vaatimustasoa hieman.
Purujen ensimmäisellä kierroksella Tamilla tehtiin hyvin samanlainen harjoitus kuin edellisen päivän toisella kierroksella. Tami pääsi kokeilemaan aivan uutta Gappayn kilparunkoa uudella päällisellä. Koira oli jo hieman aktiivisempi kuin edellisellä kerralla ja kanavoi (joka ei ole Tamille tyypillisintä) erinomaisesti.
Vesse laitettiin tolppaan ja Jogi puhutteli koiraa huomattavasti enemmän kuin viime kerralla. Tuli uusi vaihde päälle ja pojasta alkoi löytymään potkua mikä oli erittäin positiivista.
Jogi otti myös Jennyn koiralle Ginolle purut. Tälle tehtiin samantyyppinen harjoitus kuin Tamille mutta huomattavasti ”rankempi”. Aloitus ensin kentällä mutta sen jälkeen Jogi toi koiran katokseen pöytien ja tuolien keskelle. Vei sen siitä pimeään huoneeseen, jossa säilytetään m. ruohonleikkuria yms. tavaraa, vartioimaan ja haukkumaan. Mielenkiintoinen treeni kaiken kaikkiaan.
Toisella purukierroksella Tamilla jatkettiin samaa teemaa ja koira näytti jo selvästi parempaa aktiivisuutta passiivisen maalimiehen edessä. Harjoitus oli lyhyt ja koira erittäin hyvässä vietissä.
Vessen toinen tolppatreeni sujui edellisen tapaan, joten olin erittäin tyytyväinen päivän treeneihin.
Ryhmämme muista koirista on aika vaikea kertoa mitään sillä harjoittelimme melkein peräkanaa joten paljoa en niitä nähnyt. Perjantaina meillä on lepopäivä ja aiomme käydä jäljellä koirien kanssa sekä lähteä hiukan kiertelemään.
Once again a beautiful, sunny and a warm day. When we arrived to Köln-Poll training ground was Tobias already there. We got to watch him training Cuba and after that we did one round of obedience before Jogi came. Tobias kindly enough offered to help us in case we needed. Also Jogi came later along with other members of the club and the training started properly. We did one more round of obedience before moving on to protection. I continued with Tami sit, down and stay with progression. With Vesse we searched also with progression for better heeling position and place.
On the first round of protection we did with Tami the training almost like the one on the day before. Tami got to bite a brand new Gappay competition body with a new cover. The dog was a bit more active than on the day before and canalized (which is not typical for Tami) excellently.
Vesse was put on pole and Jogi made him to do more serious work than before. The was a new gear to be found and more kick in the boy which is very positive.
Jogi did a protection work with Jenny’s dog Gino also. With this dog they did a same kind of training as with Tami but “harder”. They started on the field but after that Jogi took the dog into the shed among the tables and chairs. He took him also to the dark room to guard and bell where they keep for example the lawnmower and other stuff. Very interesting training.
On the second round Jogi continued with Tami the same theme and the dog started to show more activeness in front of the passive helper. The training was short and the dog showed good drive.
The other pole training with Vesse went like the first one, so I was very pleased with the days training.
I can’t say much of the other dogs in our group because we were one after another so I didn’t see much of them. We will rest on Friday and are planning only to do some tracking and see some scenery.
