Tänään leikattiin ensimmäisen kerran pentujen kynnet. Odotin, että Tami oli syöttänyt porukan ja sitten yksitellen nostin ne laatikosta toimenpidettä varten. Äkkiä totesin, että tätä porukkaa ei ainakaan tarvitse laittaa selälleen. Sen verran oli kova protestointi heti mutta kun saivat olla sylissä vatsallaan, niin meni loppujen lopuksi oikeinkin hyvin. Toimenpiteen jälkeen pääsivät tutustumaan uuteen maailmaan pentulaatikon ulkopuolelle. Ne lähtivät heti tutkimaan uutta ympäristöä, sillä onhan niillä jo silmät auenneet.
Today we cut the first time the nails of the puppies. I waited for Tammy to feed the lot and then one by one I picked them up from the box for the operation. Soon I realized that it was useless to put these pupies on their back. The protested quite hard but as soon as they were able to be on their stomache in my lap everything went well. After the cutting they got to know the new world outside the puppy box. Immediately they went off to discover the new surroundings after all their eyes are already opened.
Aikansa tutkitttuaan ympäristöään osa pennuista nukahti.
After a while investigating their new surroundings some of the puppies fell asleep.
Mutta osa oli sitä mieltä, että taas on nälkä ja vakain askelin siis matkaan.
But some were of the opinion that they are hungry again and so off they went with steady paces.
Matka kannatti, sillä perillä odotti tarjotin täynnä herkullista maitoa.
The journey payed off because at arrival there was a tray full with delicious milk.
Vesse oli ottanut paikkansa sohvalla mutta ei se aavistanutkaan, että jäi jumiin sohvannurkkaan kunnes pennut olivat takaisin pentulaatikossaan.
Vesse had taken his place in the corner of the sofa but he got stuck there until the puppies were back in their puppy box.
